The Fishermans Cottage is conveniently located close to pubs, cafes, shops etc. The Cottage sleeps 2 people with all modern conveniences, has spectacular views over Mounts Bay, Newlyn Fishing Port and St Michaels Mount together with a Rayburn Range for cooking, hot water and centrally heating. Spend time in the romantic linhay for BBQ’s and a glass of wine or enjoy looking out to sea over the harbour and towards the magical St Michaels Mount. SHORT BREAKS - 3 and 4 night Short Breaks available during January, February, March, November and early December at a cost of £50 per night (£25 pppn for 2 people sharing) with a minimum stay of 3 nights. Booking is easy just ring us with your dates and we willl check availability. Pay by cheque - we hold your booking for 3 working days by which time your cheque should have arrived. After that time the provisional booking dates will be released. The balance of your total holiday cost must be received no later than 8 weeks prior to your arrival date. If you book within 8 weeks we will require the full payment.
DEPOSITS - £50 per 3/4 Day Break; £80 breaks valued £199-£355; £120 breaks valued £355-£600
INITIAL PAYMENTS - should comprise your deposit and charge for your pet (if applicable)
LATE BOOKINGS - the full property rental should be paid when booking within 8 weeks of your holiday
HOLIDAY INSURANCE (cancellation and curtailment protection) - We strongly advise that you arrange holiday cover. Our prices do not include holiday insurance. Neither the Deposit nor the Full payment once made will be returnable if through some unforeseen circumstance you are unable to take up your chosen holiday or it is curtailed. That said we will do all we reasonably can to relet the week or short break you chose and in the event that we do the Deposit or Full Payment (as the case may be ) less £25 administration charge will be returned to you as soon as the “ reletting “ is confirmed.
YOUR BOOKING CONFIRMATION - Once we receive your initial payment or full rental payment (as the case may be )we will send your booking confirmation to you .The information will include the name and phone number of your holiday contact and will tell you by what date the remaining cost of your holiday must be paid.On receipt of the balance of your payment you will receive travel directions to your holiday property and from whom and where you may collect the key.
CAR PARKING - you will find on the kitchen table a Parking Permit which entitles you to park your car in St Peter Hill Car Park in an allocated space. We advise that on arrival you park safely as close as possible to the cottage and unload then make you way to the car parking space.
PETS - We welcome ONE well behaved pet for the small additional charge of £20 which should be added to your rental deposit. All we ask is that you respect these few simple, common sense requests:
- Please keep your pets off the furniture
- Please do not allow your pets to exercise/foul anywhere on the property.
- Please remove pet hairs from the carpets before you leave.
- Please don’t leave your pet unattended in the property.
- Please do not allow your pet in the bedroom
SUITABILITY - regretably, the cottage is not accessible for wheelchair users.
LATE BOOKINGS - Providing the property is available, we can accept bookings within a few hours of your intended arrival, though in those circumstances we would ask that payment be made by cash.
